文法が使えるようになる方法

1.否定形と疑問形に変える
2.時制を変える
3.単語の一部を変える
4.自分専用の文を作る

これを意識しながらChapter 1 の例文をいじってみた。

Mary is my girlfriend.
She isn't my girlfriend.
否定形
Is she my girlfriend?
疑問形、誰に聞いてんだよと思う例文ｗ
She was my girlfriend.
元カノ
she is my ex-girlfriend.
元カノを強調したいならこれもあり
She's been my girlfriend since I was 18 years old.
現在完了形、18歳からずっと付き合ってる彼女
Is she the girlfriend you've been dating since you were 18?
現在完了形の疑問文、彼女はあなたが18歳からずっと付き合ってる彼女ですか？
Have you ever dated a girl?
現在完了形の疑問文、女の子とデートしたことある？
I had never dated a girl until I was 18.
過去完了形、18歳まで女の子と付き合ったことがなかった
Had you never dated a girl until you were 18?
過去完了の疑問形、18歳まで女の子と付き合ったことがなかったの？

1つの例文を色々変えてみたけれど後半に行くほど、とっさに口から出て来ない。
過去完了は特に難しい。

自動詞と他動詞

自動詞：「あっそう」って言えちゃう動詞
他動詞：「何を？」って聞き返せる動詞

He smiled at her.
She kissed him gently.
上の法則でいくと、smile は自動詞なのはわかるけれど、kiss は微妙だな～。
どちらも、～に～する、だもんね。
もう例文覚えて感覚で掴めって感じになってしまう。

smile を名詞で使うこともある。
He gave her a smile.　彼は彼女に笑顔を見せた
He had a faint smile on his face.　彼はかすかな微笑みを浮かべていた

kiss は、この例文で覚えておけばいつか使うかもしれないｗ
I wanna kiss you.
I want to kiss you so intensely.
猛烈にキスしたいという場合、副詞を使ってみる。
Have you ever kissed her?
彼女とキスしたことある？
I've never kissed anyone.
私は誰ともキスしたことがない
I kissed her three times.
彼女と3回キスをした
I've kissed her three times.
彼女と3回キスをしたことがある
I had never kissed a girl until I was 18.
18歳まで女の子とキスをしたことがなかった

Rule 018
状態動詞は通例進行形を作れない。
状態 be, contain, belong to, remain,
心理 believe, forget, hate, like, remember
知覚 feel, hear, see, smell, taste
よく聞く feeling は名詞か形容詞の「感覚、印象、感情」だね。現在分詞も feeling。

Rule 020
他動詞と間違えやすい自動詞
We looked at the pictures in the museum for several hours.
I agreed to the proposal.
I agree with you about the need for it.
He apologized to us for arriving late.
You should apologize.
I complained to the police about my neighbor's dog.
She complained of a headache.
I'm hoping for a good crop this year.
He listened to the music.
Listen to her advice.
I object to waiting another year.

自動詞と間違えやすい他動詞
The members have discussed the merits of opening a new local airport.
He didn't answer a word to me.
She answered me that she would be happy to come.
We approached the city.
The bridesmaid attends the bride.
The idea never entered his head.
Can you reach the top shelf?
Tom resembles his father.
John asked her to marry him.
The minister married them.
We must consider whether it will be worthwhile.

Day 1
I often enjoy (listening to) classical music.
選択肢
to listen to これを選んだ
listening
listening to
listen
listen to の形だよとやったばかりなのでto listen to かと思ったんだけど、enjoy は目的語に動名詞しか取らないので、正解は listening to 。

あー、またここミスった。
例文で覚えろ～。
We enjoyed driving along the new expressway.
enjoy + doing～することを楽しむ。
Enjoy yourself. 他動詞なので、普段はこの形。
