英訳
母は今パリにいるんだ。
My mother is in Paris now.
答えは合ってたんだけど、ここで is を使うことにすごく悩むというか抵抗があるというか...。
is は、私の母は～ですというときによく使うイメージで、My mother is Paris. というふうに感じてしまう。
なぜか is 以外の単語を探そうとするんですよ、脳が。
何なんでしょうね、この感覚。

並べ替え
10年前、この町には5つの映画館があった。
Ten years ago, there were five theaters in this town.
何々があるって there is のイメージだったので、there was にした。
5つの映画館のことなので、複数形にする。

穴埋め
多くの男の子が彼女の歌を聴いていた。
Many boys were listening to her song.
時制間違え。listen のスペルがあやふや...。

この道具は有名な科学者によって発明された。
This tool was invented by a famous scientist.
まず、invented が出てこない。created とか made しか浮かばなかった。

僕はよく母から怒られる。
I am often scolded by my mother.
scolded がなかなか出て来なかったけど、ギリギリ思い出した。でもスペルはあやしいかも。
穴埋めでなければ、my mother is always mad at me. でもいいかな。

受動態に書き換え
Mary was sent a ring by Tom.
sent は send の過去形。なぜか send が過去形だと思って間違えた。

疑問文を作る

did は使わない。
文の中にbe動詞も助動詞もない場合の疑問文に do, did, does を使う。

疑問文に書き換え
Tom painted cats on the wall.
what did Tom paint on the wall?

They call the dog Ted.
what do they call the dog?
do が抜けた。

This is a lighter.
正解は what is this?
does this a lighter? と書いた。なんかヘンだな。
Is this a lighter? でもいいのでは。

Bob gave her a ring.
what was that bob give her? と書いた。
正解は what did Bob give her?

Something happened here yesterday.
what did happen here yesterday?
正解は what happened here yesterday?
あれ？？何か混乱してきたぞ。
