分詞
分詞とは、動詞の性質を備えた形容詞である。

感情表現を表す動詞の現在分詞と過去分詞の使い分け
excite ～を興奮させる、現在分詞（物・事）過去分詞（人）
amazing,boring,confusing,disappointing,pleasing,satisfying,shocking,surprising,thrilling,tiring
amazed,bored,coufused,disappointed,pleased,satisfied,shocked,surprised,thrilled,tired

現在分詞は形容詞的、動名詞は名詞的な性質を持つので区別する。
Look at the man standing over there.
形容詞的な使い方なので、こっちは現在分詞。
Standing for a long time is tiring.
名詞的なので、こっちは動名詞。

We are supposed to send back (detailed) reports to the manager.
